Who is behind MQstyle?
Hi and thank you for taking the time to click this far. My name is Mary Quinn. I'm originally from the North of Ireland but reside in the South of Ireland at present.
I love to observe, listen and nurture.
With a keen eye for detail, I love tapping into my creative side through photography, content creation on socials, styling outfits or simply organising things around me. It brings me lots of joy.
The 'MQstyle' name was born from my Instagram account which I started back in the latter part of 2017. A phone, mirror and good lighting were my best friend. Putting outfits together is something I have loved doing from a young age. Making an effort with your appearance can really lift your mood. On the Instagram page, I wanted to share styling ideas with women and create a community where they could be inspired and feel comfortable asking for styling advice. The hashtag MQstyle was born. Followers were known to say.. "That's very MQstyle."
However, as time went on I felt like I wanted to share more than just styling. I wanted to create a space where I could talk about different topics and experiences in my life. Somewhere that women could feel comfortable coming to to be inspired, connected, encouraged, empowered and supported not just with styling but with different aspects of life in general. As we get older we have created a story along the way. We are all unique in our own special way. Having our style of how we look, how we do things, how we react, how we view the world. The list could go on. Here I would like to share my style... MQstyle of life with the hope of not just keeping my love of nurturing to children in the classroom but with women of every age.
